As we pulled into the parking lot, the sleet started to fall. Not hard, but a light sleeting. Enough to get out hopes up. But while in Cici's, it began to fall. Light at first, but as we began to filter outside, it started coming down decently. Snow. Fo'real. It was beautiful.
I don't know if it was the cold, or the wet, or the ice, or if it was just the thought of snow. But it go to our heads. Some bundled up. Others skipped. Some made strange faces. Others tried to eat it. I bounced up and down in one spot.
I walked from my house to the coffee shop tonight. Partly because I like it cold outside and enjoy the walk, but mostly because I like the snow that was falling. It mostly had stopped by the time I had arrived, which was disappointing.
