A large box knocked on my front door.

Then old man who was looking for his wife walked out of the box and talked to me.

I checked my e-mail with my cellphone today.

How cool is that?

"It's not enough to have a product, you also have to have the marketing. I mean, where would Paul Newman's salad dressing be without Paul Newman? Or Michelin tires be without that big, fat, hairless, French, albino, marshmallow guy? Or Janet Jackson without the Super Bowl?" -Red Green

My trip was great. But...

48 to 1 awake to sleep ratio is not good.

Bed. Now. Duemo muchos.

I saw this hawk today. Looking for lunch, it made a pretty good choice to come close to campus and its squirrell population.

I've needed some new speakers for a while.

So when I saw the home entertainment system 50% off at the store today, it was sorta a done-deal right there.

Plus 40% more off the discount price made it a very attractive offer.

It makes me happy.

events from my day

So yeah, after sitting in the Thomas Cooper for about four hours, I feel like a zombie when I emerge back at the surface. In fact, I feel like every muscle has atrophied by the time I get up from my little desk/cubicle. Not to mention the chairs are based on the worst anatomical design template. They might be comfortable for crash dummies, but not just regular dummies.

I went into work for a couple hours and rearanged cameras this evening. And I got all itchy from playing in the fiberglass insulation in the ceiling.

For some odd reason, Blackboard won't let me logon this evening. Which offers a new "I-didn't-get-my-homework-done" excuse: "Blackboard was down and I couldn't download the assignment."

And Cool Beans is closing soon, so I guess I should head out.

my prof's comment about the lesson today: "Now, that would just be too simple..."

Still not as bad as the prof who used the word 'theoretical' when describing an assignment's minimum length.

James 1:27

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
